Delete your BidPost account

In the app

Sign in, open Your account (your email or “Account” at the top of the page), type DELETE and choose Delete my account. It takes effect right away.

By email

Can't sign in? Email support@bidpost.win from the address on your account and ask us to delete it. We'll confirm within 7 days.

What's deleted

• Your name, email address, password and sign-in sessions
• Your phone number, website, license number, service area, and the owner/manager name and ID name
• Insurance certificates you uploaded, and your notifications
• Board invitations: the email addresses you invited to view your projects' bids, and your access to projects others shared with you
• Your organization memberships. An organization left with no manager keeps its name, since its projects show it, but loses its contact details.
• Draft projects and their files

What's closed out

• Listings still taking bids are cancelled and bidders are told
• Bids on projects still taking bids are withdrawn
• A gold membership is cancelled; unused posting credit is forfeited

What we keep, and why

• Bids on finished projects, with the business name, and finished projects without contact details: the other party keeps them as their record.
• Messages already sent: they are also the other person's conversation.
• Payment and credit records, for as long as tax and accounting law requires (typically 7 years).
